Flute

A Truly Unique Instrument

The Flute is one of the most ancient instruments known to us.

It is the only member of the woodwind family which is not usually wooden, and it does not have a reed. It is also the only instrument that is held sideways and blown without a mouthpiece that goes inside the mouth.

Recorder

Why is the Recorder the first instrument used to teach kids in School ?

It is a simple,  direct melody instrument makes it the perfect instrument for young learners. It is possible,  with good teaching, to get a good sound out of the Recorder quite quickly. Children are able to develop their motor and coordination skills. Moreover, it helps to develop cognitive skills.  These are important for good, mental health. Communication skills are also acquired.

Ocarina

The Ocarina, meaning “Little Goose” in Italian, is an ancient musical instrument.

The Ocarina, a type of vessel flute,  with many variations,  is a typically ceramic or clay instrument with four to twelve fingers holes and a mouse piece that projects from the body.

The Ocarina is very similar to the Recorder and the Flute.

It is easy to learn and play for everyone,  from young children to the elderly, especially recommended for people who need more help developing their fine motor skills or good as a first instrument for beginners in music.
